Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) functions include registration of engineers, consulting engineers, constructors/operators and accreditation of engineering Programmes offered by universities/institutions, ensuring and managing of continuing professional development, assisting the Federal Government as Think Tank, establishing standards for engineering products and services besides safeguarding the interest of its members. The council shall encourage, facilitate and regulate working of professional engineering bodies for creativity and as custodians of engineering under the umbrella of the Council.
National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC)
National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) function at the national level as an accreditation authority within its scope to facilitate enhancing the quality of business education in Pakistan. The NBEAC since its inception has laid out systems, procedures, networks and programs to ensure that all degree-awarding institutions in Pakistan are invited to achieve standards that are comparable with global standards and thus gain NBEAC accreditation. In future, this accreditation could be used as a mechanism to introduce business school rankings to encourage competitiveness, quality, continuous improvement and sustainability in the Pakistan business education market.
Pakistan Bar Council (PBC)
The Pakistan Bar Council is the highest elected body of lawyers in Pakistan. It exercises general control and supervision over the Provincial /ICT Bar Councils and regulate the entry of lawyers into the legal profession. The main functions of the Bar Council are to admit persons, fulfilling the requirements of law, as Advocates entitled to practice before the Supreme Court of Pakistan and to maintain Roll of such Advocates and to remove advocates from the said Roll. It also enjoys powers to entertain and determine cases of professional and other misconduct against Advocates of the Supreme Court and to award punishment in such cases.
National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC)
National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) looks after the matter regarding the accreditation of institutions and their departments, faculties and disciplines by giving them appropriate ratings and define the organization's objectives, functions and duties to be performed. It periodically evaluates, scrutinizes and monitors the standards followed in different Universities, Degree Awarding Institutions and their affiliated colleges offering computing degree programs.
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings
LUMS is in the top 100 Institutions in Asia according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings Asia 2019. The university is now ranked at 95 and among the top 19% based on performance. The 2019 QS World University Rankings, published on June 6, 2018, was the fifteenth edition of the overall ranking. It confirmed Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the world's highest-ranked university for a seventh successive year.

INQAAHE is an association of over 200 organizations active in the practice of quality assurance in higher education. The purpose of INQAAHE is to promote excellence in education through the support of an active international community of quality assurance agencies. The network focuses on the exchange and understanding of policies for the benefit of institutions and students.
Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN)
APQN’s mission is to enhance the quality of higher education in Asia and the Pacific region through strengthening the work of quality assurance agencies and extending the cooperation between them. They also facilitate research in the region into the practice of quality management and provide advice and expertise to assist with the development of new quality assurance agencies in the region.
European Association of Institutions of Higher Education (EURASHE)
EURASHE is an international non-profit association, which promotes and emphasizes professional higher education (PHE). EURASHE’s Purpose is to promote the interests of PHE at a national and European level; to cooperate internationally on the development of PHE; and to promote internationalization within its member institutions. The association has working groups engaged in the development of policies on issues for higher education. Furthermore, it organizes annual conferences and seminars for its members as well.
