National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) function at the national level as an accreditation authority within its scope to facilitate enhancing the quality of business education in Pakistan. The NBEAC since its inception has laid out systems, procedures, networks and programs to ensure that all degree-awarding institutions in Pakistan are invited to achieve standards that are comparable with global standards and thus gain NBEAC accreditation. In future, this accreditation could be used as a mechanism to introduce business school rankings to encourage competitiveness, quality, continuous improvement and sustainability in the Pakistan business education market.
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings
LUMS is in the top 100 Institutions in Asia according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings Asia 2019. The university is now ranked at 95 and among the top 19% based on performance. The 2019 QS World University Rankings, published on June 6, 2018, was the fifteenth edition of the overall ranking. It confirmed Massachusetts Institute of Technology as the world's highest-ranked university for a seventh successive year.
