Abdullah is interested in examining the behavior of Islamic banks in absence of conventional banking. Prior to joining PhD Management Programme he worked as Research Associate at Center for Islamic Finance, Suleman Dawood Business School, LUMS.

He has done BSc. Double Majors Economics and Finance and Masters in Economics from Lahore School of Economics.
