Mr. Ahsan Shamim completed his Bachelors in Business Administration and Masters in Accounting from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He has extensive work experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Chicago and New York, as a Senior Manager in their assurance practice where he remained engaged with a variety of financial services clients. After working with PwC, Mr. Ahsan Shamim was Vice President of Financial Reporting as a part of Bank of New York Mellon. On his return to Pakistan, he joined the Lahore University of Management Sciences as Assistant Professor in the Suleman Dawood School of Business, where he was also the MBA Program Director. For the last few years he has been the Chief Financial Officer at the Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP), which executes specialized infrastructure projects for the Punjab Government. His professional designations include Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
