Samir Ahmed has a professional background in financial services in the areas of Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Private Equity and Financial Regulation. He has worked in Pakistan as well as Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Samir has been associated with LUMS since 2014 in various capacities. He has taught courses on Financial Institutions, Financial Markets, International Finance and Corporate Governance at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) and Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC). He also served as Executive in Residence at SDSB (2021-24) and as Director REDC (2024-25).
Samir graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and did his Masters from London Business School.
