Dr. Yongyi Shou is Professor of Operations and Technology Management at the School of Management, Zhejiang University, China. He received his PhD degree in Systems and Engineering Management from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He was an academic visitor at the University of Cambridge in 2009 and 2018, and a visiting research scholar at Indiana University in 2013. His research interests cover a number of topics such as global operations, supply chain network, sustainable supply chain management, digital innovation, green logistics and ESG. He serves as regional editor, associate editor or editorial board member for JSCM, IJLRA, IJOPM, IJPE, IJPDLM, and IMDS. He has published research articles in leading journals such as Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and Journal of Business Ethics. Professor Shou’s visit aligns with the SDSB research on the value chain and adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in Pakistan. The impactful work includes publications on the subject in esteemed academic journals and is based on strong stakeholders' engagement reflected in ongoing collaborations and two major symposiums on electromobility in Pakistan over the last couple of years. Professor Shou has been a part of this effort, particularly in linking SDSB’s EV research team with major industry players in China.
