Research Seminar on Hedge Accounting and Banks’ Interest Rate Risk Management

The Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) regularly hosts research seminars that bring together faculty, PhD students, and researchers to engage with emerging ideas, ongoing research, and new perspectives in management and business. The seminar series provides a platform for external academics to share their current research, discuss methodological approaches, and exchange insights with the academic community at SDSB. 

As part of this series, Dr. Waqar Ali, Assistant Professor at HEC Paris, will present his research on “Hedge Accounting and Banks’ Interest Rate Risk Management.” The session will offer faculty and PhD students an opportunity to engage with his ongoing research and explore its implications for understanding interest rate risk management in banking.
