On September 26, 2025, the Case Research Unit (CRU) at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) hosted a case roundtable discussion on Interloop, co-authored by Dr. Attique Ur Rehman and Dr. Shakeel Sadiq Jajja, and chaired by Professor Emeritus Dr. Syed Zahoor Hassan.

Case roundtables are a cornerstone of SDSB’s commitment to advancing high-quality case writing and teaching. These sessions provide faculty with a collegial space to present in-progress cases, receive detailed peer feedback, and strengthen the analytical and pedagogical depth of their work. Beyond improving individual cases, roundtables foster a collaborative academic community—one that values critical reflection, shared learning, and continuous enhancement of teaching practice.

Through these monthly discussions, the CRU aims to build capacity for student-centred, discussion-based learning, ensuring that SDSB’s cases are both locally grounded and globally relevant. The focus is on crafting narratives that not only illuminate managerial dilemmas but also provoke meaningful classroom dialogue.

The September session featured Interloop, a case that examines strategic growth choices within one of Pakistan’s leading apparel manufacturers. While the discussion explored its teaching potential, the real emphasis remained on the process of how peer insight and collective reflection can transform a case draft into an engaging and effective teaching tool.
