MS’21 Farewell Dinner 2023

The Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) at LUMS bid farewell to its accomplished Master's students on 4th June 2023 in a heartwarming event at the Garrison & Country Club Complex that showcased their remarkable journey and celebrated their achievements. The event was organised by the junior class to bid farewell to their seniors.

The farewell event was a true reflection of the spirit of unity and support that defines SDSB-LUMS. The junior class organised an unforgettable evening filled with nostalgia, entertainment, and heartfelt tributes. The event showcased the remarkable dedication and creativity of the MS classes, who worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the farewell was meticulously planned and executed. 

Reflecting on the event, SDSB faculty member Ms. Saima Rana shared, "I teach a very short course to the MS students during the orientation week. At that time, they feel so overwhelmed being at LUMS and living with the institution's expectations. Most of them feel they won't make it. Seeing the same students graduating, with happy faces and the feeling that this was so worth it, made my day! Wishing them the very best of luck, and may they carry the LUMS brand name high."

Adding to the sentiment, another faculty member, Mr. Jazib Zahir, expressed, "This was the first time I taught MS students. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with them and tried to leverage their experiences to take them deeper into technology entrepreneurship. Wishing them all the best in their endeavours as they look to become changemakers and movers and shakers."

The show put together by the LUMS MS graduates was a testament to their creativity, talent, and dedication. It served as a celebration of their accomplishments, as well as a platform to showcase their artistic abilities. The event demonstrated the multifaceted nature of the graduating class, showcasing not only their academic excellence but also their artistic expressions.
