Dr. Jawad Syed Wins HEC Best Researcher Award 2023

We are proud to announce that Dr. Jawad Syed, Professor at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), has been awarded the Best Researcher Award in the Social Sciences by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan (HEC). This prestigious honour is part of the 9th HEC Research Awards for the year 2023.

On October 1st, 2024, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) conferred seven research awards and three best university teachers awards at the HEC Secretariat to recognise the high performers in Pakistan's academia and foster a culture of impactful research. Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Executive Director HEC, Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum, Member Research and Innovation HEC, Dr. Bushra Mirza, and Members of the Review Committees and senior HEC management attended the ceremony.   

Dr. Jawad Syed’s exceptional contributions to research and scholarship have earned him this well-deserved recognition.
