Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) recently reaffirmed its commitment to participant-centred learning through a comprehensive case writing workshop led by Professor Emeritus Dr. Ehsan ul Haque. Held from June 13 to July 31, 2024, the workshop empowered faculty to enhance their case writing skills, vital to SDSB's pedagogical approach.
The case method is pivotal in cultivating critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical application skills among students, making it a cornerstone of SDSB's educational philosophy. Faculty members, including Dr. Ummad Mazhar, Dr. Attique ur Rehman, Dr. Zehra Waheed, Dr. Afaf Khalid, Ms. Mahira Ilyas, and Mr. Ahsan Umar, participated in the workshop. They engaged in collaborative sessions to develop new case studies, ensuring that classroom discussions remain relevant, challenging, and reflective of real-world business scenarios.
This initiative highlights SDSB's commitment to providing a world-class education that imparts theoretical knowledge and equips students with the skills needed to address complex global challenges. By continuing to invest in case writing and teaching, SDSB ensures that its classrooms remain vibrant spaces where ideas are tested, debated, and applied to real-world contexts.
