Accufix CEO Shares Insights on the Skincare Industry with SDSB Students

In an engaging guest speaker session on November 7, 2024, Dr. Salma Zaman, Assistant Professor at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), welcomed Yasmeen Naseer, the Owner and CEO of Accufix, to speak with students in the MGMT-400 class. Ms. Naseer shared her journey of founding and expanding Accufix, addressing the challenges she has faced and continues to navigate in Pakistan’s competitive skincare industry. 

Highlighting the industry’s complexities, Ms. Naseer discussed the approaches that skincare businesses often adopt and emphasised the need for consumer education around products and skincare practices. She also spoke about building a purpose-driven brand and the value of empowering customers to make informed choices. The session provided students with valuable lessons in entrepreneurship, resilience, and strategic thinking, equipping them with insights for their own professional journeys.
