On October 8, 2024, the MGMT-481 (Entrepreneurship) course, led by Sahar Atif at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), launched this semester with a dynamic cohort of aspiring entrepreneurs. Nine innovative business ideas were presented, and students will receive guidance from a diverse group of 10 mentors, each from a distinct industry. These mentors include experts in fields such as ed tech and AI (Jazib Zahir), digital marketing (Badar Khushnood), food and beverage (Asma Waqar), tourism and education (Ghazi Taimoor), PR and client management (Selina Rashid), adventure travel (Sadaf Nasir and Prithvi Raj), electrical engineering (Nauman Ahmad), and logistics (Ahmed Khan).

With their combined expertise, the mentors will not only provide essential guidance but also seed funding to help the startups grow. The course promises an exciting collaboration between students and industry professionals, setting the stage for turning innovative ideas into successful businesses.

This reflects SDSB’s focus on bridging the gap between academic theory and industry application, equipping students with knowledge that supports their career development in entrepreneurship.
