Redefining the Future: Conversations with IT and Tech Leaders

On October 27, 2023, SDSB hosted a panel discussion on the ever-evolving IT/Tech sector.  The panel consisted of visionary leaders from various industry domains, each contributing unique insights into the dynamic world of technology.

Moderated by Dr. Ussama Yaqub, a faculty member at SDSB, the panel had an impressive lineup, including Mr. Badar Khushnood, co-founder of Fishry.com and Bramerz, who brought extensive experience in e-commerce and digital marketing. Ms. Sadaf Rehman, Co-Founder of Code School.pk, is a prominent figure in education technology. Mr. Tanzeel Ur Rehman, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Virtual Force Inc., shared his expertise in software development and outsourcing. Mr. Asif Akram, COO of Systems Ltd, provided insights into IT services and solutions, highlighting the global IT landscape's competitive nature.

Throughout the discussion, the panellists explored key themes, including the impact of digitalisation on traditional business models, the importance of cybersecurity in an increasingly connected world, and the role of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain in redefining industries.
