SDSB Hosts Alumni Connect Session in Islamabad

On December 12, 2025, the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) hosted an alumni connect session in Islamabad, bringing together distinguished alumni, Dean SDSB Dr M. Adeel Zaffar, and SDSB faculty for a candid and forward-looking discussion on the evolving needs of industry and the future of business education.

The session was joined by Dr Adnan Zahid, Dean of Student Affairs; Dr Choudhry Tanveer Shehzad, Associate Dean of Graduate Programmes; Dr Syed Aun R. Rizvi, Associate Professor; Dr Ghulam Ali Arain, Executive MBA Programme Director; Dr Salma Zaman, PhD Management Programme Director; Dr Ussama Yaqub, Programme Director, MS Technology Management and Entrepreneurship; and Dr Hassan Rauf Chaudhry, Programme Director, MS Healthcare Management & Innovation (MS HMI), and Associate Dean of Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC).

The discussion highlighted the importance of alumni insights in shaping SDSB’s academic offerings, strengthening industry engagement, and ensuring that graduate programmes remain aligned with emerging professional and societal needs. Alumni shared perspectives from across sectors, contributing to a thoughtful exchange on how business education can continue to prepare leaders capable of driving meaningful and sustained impact.
