SDSB Hosts EMBA Welcome and Networking Dinner for the Class of 2028

The Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), LUMS, hosted the EMBA Welcome and Networking Night on 31 October 2026 at the REDC Lawn, LUMS, bringing together the incoming Executive MBA Class of 2028, university leadership, faculty, and industry professionals from leading organisations.

Dr Ghulam Ali Arain, Programme Director of the Executive MBA, welcomed the incoming students as they began their academic journey at SDSB. The evening was also attended by Dr Adeel Zaffar, Dean of SDSB; Mr. Shahid Hussain, Rector of LUMS; and Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood, Pro-Chancellor of LUMS. The informal setting provided students with an opportunity to engage with university leadership, interact with faculty, and connect with experienced industry professionals. Conversations throughout the evening encouraged peer engagement, the exchange of professional experiences, and the development of relationships that will contribute to the students' learning experience.

The gathering marked the beginning of the Class of 2028's engagement with the wider SDSB community, reflecting the Executive MBA programme's emphasis on learning through diverse professional perspectives and strong industry–academia linkages.
