The Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), LUMS, welcomed Hamza Khokhar, Chief AI Officer at Jazz World, for an MBA guest speaker session titled “Building an AI-Native Organisation: Strategy, People and Leadership.” The session explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping organisations and the implications of this transformation for business strategy, management, and leadership.

Integrating AI into Organisational Strategy

Drawing on his professional experience, Mr. Khokhar discussed what it takes to integrate AI across an organisation. He examined the importance of aligning AI initiatives with business strategy, developing organisational capabilities, and preparing people and leadership to work effectively in an increasingly AI-driven environment. The discussion highlighted that adopting AI involves more than introducing new technologies. It requires organisations to rethink how they operate, build capabilities, and approach decision-making. For business leaders, understanding these changes is becoming increasingly important as AI influences organisational priorities and ways of working.

Connecting Classroom Learning with Industry Practice

For SDSB MBA students, the session offered valuable industry perspectives on a rapidly evolving business landscape. It provided an opportunity to connect classroom learning with organisational practice and consider how AI will influence the businesses they join, manage, and eventually lead. Through such industry engagements, SDSB continues to connect management education with contemporary business challenges, exposing students to the experiences and perspectives of professionals leading organisational change.
