Students enrolled in the MGMT-283 (Hospitality Management) course at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), led by Ms. Shireen Waheed, recently visited The Nishat Hotel for a unique and interactive learning experience. The session kicked off with an engaging icebreaker, where students teamed up to build paper towers, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and active participation—essential skills for aspiring hospitality professionals.

Following the activity, the team from Nishat Hotels delivered a presentation on the hotel’s overall operations, sharing their mission, vision, and core values. They highlighted Nishat’s dedication to luxury hospitality, focusing on innovation, guest satisfaction, and the strategic goals that position them as leaders in the industry. This briefing gave students valuable insights into what it takes to operate a high-end hotel successfully.

Nishat Hotels further demonstrated their commitment to hospitality by serving refreshments, which added a personal touch and fostered a welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to Nishat Hotels, the students also explored Heritage Luxury Suites, a hotel inspired by Moroccan aesthetics. The rich textures, intricate designs, and the calming scent of bukhoor created an immersive, sensory experience that artfully blends cultural heritage with modern luxury. This ambience served as a creative source of inspiration for the students, offering a deeper understanding of how design and atmosphere can play a pivotal role in shaping a guest’s experience in luxury hospitality.

This educational outing provided students with invaluable exposure to the inner workings of luxury hotels, giving them firsthand experience in understanding the critical elements that contribute to exceptional hospitality management. The combination of interactive learning and industry insights from The Nishat Hotel and Heritage Luxury Suites ensures that the students will return to the classroom with enhanced knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the dynamic world of hospitality management, positioning them for future success in the field.
